We request an enhancement to the holiday carryover functionality to allow for a maximum carryover period of up to 18 months. Current system limitations only permit a 12-month carryover window, which is not compliant with legislation concerning long-term sickness. According to statutory guidelines, employees must be allowed up to 18 months to use holiday entitlements accrued during a period of long-term sickness absence.
This adjustment would ensure legal compliance and reduce the need for manual workarounds or exceptions outside the system.
